The art and animation is decent at best, in other words it’s generally bad lol. I love this anime a lot even though it sucked ass ( pun intended). The main characters also are an actual married couple, so that’s one of its uniqueness.ĭRAMAtical Murder more like animation quality and budget murder. There’s a lot of potential in Danna’s plot that not every short anime can achieve easily. Every scene delivers comedy well, and it’s also fun looking out for other anime references once every while. Long-ass title it may have, the episodes though have short screentime and after each episode a watcher might possibly ask themself: “…why is this show a short anime?” Truly one of Danna’s appeal is that it’s short and very straightforward. If you tell me it will never be possible for a short (roughly three minutes per episode) anime to be one of the notable anime titles of the year, I’ll just scream Danna ga Nani wo Itteiru ka Wakaranai at you. If you’re gonna watch this, be sure you’re ready for lots of laughing. Or else my anime year 2014 wouldn’t have been completed. Good thing my Tumblr dash one day suddenly exploded with lots of Barakamon graphics, and it was just then that I decided to watch it. Barakamon wasn’t even in my initial watch list for Summer. Who even would be hyped about another rural-side slice of life anime featuring calligraphy? I don’t know about you, but definitely not me. Okay, let’s be real here, who doesn’t even know one of this year’s masterpieces, Barakamon? Started airing July this year, It was one of those shows who didn’t stand out on seasonal anime charts at first. Moving on, as always thank you to everyone who made this year an active year for anime! Animators, Mangaka, Subbers, Other members of anime staff, Everyone who had made an effort to contribute to and help the anime industry, huge thanks to all of you! ❤ Overall I think I can summarize the anime year 2014 in this: The good ones are REALLY good, and the bad ones are REALLY bad. I’ll probably discuss that further in one of my future posts.
Or, rather, a specific kind of taste in anime I absolutely can not like. I dropped a lot of anime this year because I think I’ve developed some specific kind of taste in anime throughout 2014. I’ve become so busy and stressed most of this year that even though I used to tend to follow around 15 anime titles per season, it has become around 10, and in that 10 there are always ones I drop. This summary is incomplete and unofficial, so maybe take this post with a grain of salt.Īs an introduction let me say how I’ve been in terms of catching up on my regular weekly anime shows. Here we are again - another yearly post of anime summary! Yaay *claps*Īs always, this post will be biased as I hadn’t seen each and every single anime ever that was released this year, 2014, but I’ll try to be at least fair to those titles I’ve watched.
